Just try to find a video talking about this niche.
They will show you how easy it is—no equipment, no special skills required.
And you can make thousands of dollars by creating such simple videos.
At least, this is what they are trying to convince you of.
So, if you think it is a good idea to start a quiz channel, let’s look at the pros and cons to help you figure out if it’s the right choice for you.

Before you start any channel, ask yourself why you want to do it.
Understanding your reason can guide you to success.
Some people love teaching others.
They enjoy creating fun, interactive content that helps people learn. A quiz channel can be a great way to share that joy.

You can create quizzes on anything!
Do you love music, history, or movies? There are endless topics to explore.
Plus, quizzes keep people engaged. Viewers like to test their own knowledge, and that keeps them coming back for more.
You can also make some money with such a channel.
This might surprise you, but quiz channels can be profitable.
The more people watch your videos, the more money you can earn from ads.
If you keep your audience interested, they will watch more of your quizzes, and your income can grow over time.

It’s EASY! Quizzes are easy to create. With tools like Canva and ElevenLabs, you can easily create a video in a few minutes. And when you create a template, you can be even faster.
Build a Community When people enjoy your quizzes, they might subscribe to your channel and keep watching your videos. They might even share them with friends. This helps build a community of people who share your interests.
Make Money While making money isn’t easy right away, it is possible. The more views you get, the more money you can make. Quiz channels with high-quality, engaging content can make between $1 and $5 for every 1,000 views. If you get a lot of views, this can add up quickly.
The Cons of a Quiz Channel
Now, let’s look at the other side.
Competition Is Tough There are already many quiz channels out there. It can be hard to stand out. You need to offer something unique to get people to watch your quizzes instead of someone else’s. This might mean putting extra effort into your questions or adding your own twist to the format.

But in my opinion, it is not worth the effort.
Let me explain it.
The main issue is that such channels can easily lose monetization from YouTube display ads.
The policy on repetitive and templated content is strict and can cause trouble for your channel.
I always look at a YouTube channel as a business. And in business, you have to find multiple revenue streams.
So, if you can find another revenue model, these videos can be a good traffic source for you.
And then my answer is yes, start a quiz channel.
Another reason to start such a channel is that you can easily take the videos made for your YouTube Shorts channel and upload them on TikTok, Instagram, and mainly Facebook.
Yes, Facebook loves such videos, and its bonus program can help you monetize them.
